Everything You Want for Christmas

Everything You Want for Christmas Review

There is an old joke, A polish girl comes home pregnant,
Her mom says " Are you sure its yours? "
Well that's how I feel about Big Bad Voodoo Daddy's Christmas CD.
It's Christmas Classics in a swing style by the best American Swing band. They are a really tight unit. I drive everywhere for my job.
I am a repo man for an adoption agency.
One thing I hate is paying tolls. It's like throwing money out the window. But you won't be throwing money out the window with this CD.
I see a lot of Warning Billboards when I am in my car,
such as " Don't drink and drive", "Don't smoke when you are pregnant", and my favorite Warning billboard is " According To Jim is now on 5 nights a week!"
Well with this Christmas CD you need a warning label for the best song is a real toe tapper! Its Mr. Heatmiser from the Old Christmas Cartoon The Year Without a Santa Clause. Its a note for note swing remake.
You Know, they say Santa Clause was Polish because who else would wear a red suit?
Well you will be wearing a red suit too, a red suit of love for this CD.
Joey Callahan who says he is Philadelphia's biggest undiscovered comedian WWW.joeycallahan.com, turned me onto this CD. He said to me " Watch out for that doorknob!" I said " why?". He said " It'll turn on you!" So this cat knows his comedy. Joey also teaches comedy. He taught me!
Well this CD won't turn on you. It will warm your heart on a cold winters night.
This CD and the Home Alone Movies Christmas CD are my favorite collection of Upbeat Rock/ Swing christmas music.

Everything You Want for Christmas Specifications

Lay in a good round of cosmopolitans, ditch the rug and get ready to turn 2004 into 1944 with these retro swing kings. In an album where horns are king, the Big Bad Voodoo Daddy Christmas disc will please fans and remind the elders that the big band sound has not left the building. While singer Scotty Morris is a bit too mannered at times, he does an adequate job of covering the Yule's coolest, including "Blue Christmas," "Merry Christmas Baby" and "Is Zat You Santa Claus?" and can write a seasonal tune worth returning to every year: Highlights include Morris' own "Rockabilly Christmas," the timeless "Christmas Time in Tinsel Town" and "Last Night (I Went Out with Santa Claus)." But with the Daddy's baritone sax master Karl Hunter blazing and the rhythm section fanning the yule log on "Jingle Bells (Cha Cha)," this might be the disc to jumpstart your holiday party -- even before Thanksgiving dinner gets in the oven. --Martin Keller
